Mobile number change application form

An account holder can update his newly obtained mobile number or any other existing mobile number in his bank account by different methods.

#1. Sending signed letter to the bank's address

Write a letter in plain paper with all the details about the bank account and old/new mobile number, sign it and send it by post to the bank's address. However, some of the banks may not accept this, please call and check with them at first.

#2. Submitting pre-printed application form at the bank's branch

Visit the branch office of the bank, take the application form given by them, fill it up, sign it and submit it at that branch office.

#3. Submitting pre-printed application form at the bank's ATM counter or by sending by post

If you are unable to submit the application form at the bank's branch office due to timing issues, you can take the form home and then fill it up and sign it. Thereafter, you can visit the nearest ATM of that branch and submit the form there or else you can send the signed application form by post or courier to the bank's address.

Note: For credit card and loan accounts, separate requests have to be given to the bank. This letter is for updating a mobile number in savings or current account and term deposits (FD).
